My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chelita! At just 30 lbs, Chelita is the ideal pint-sized Pit Bull mix, ready to bring big love to your life. She’s the sweetest girl you could ever meet, happiest when she’s curled up next to you on the couch for a snooze. Chelita’s calm and affectionate nature makes her a dream companion, but don’t let that fool you—she has a playful side too and enjoys fun moments with her foster sibling.

Chelita is house trained and crate trained. She's friendly with dogs and kids, and though we haven't tested her with cats her gentle demeanor suggests she might do well.

Chelita’s car manners are impeccable; she quietly sits in the back seat, making her a perfect travel buddy. Whether as an only dog or part of a multi-pet household, she’s eager to please and ready to adapt.

If you’re looking for a calm, sweet, and affectionate companion who adores cuddles and will happily join you for cozy couch time, Chelita is your girl! 🐶💕 Apply to adopt Chelita at www.tailsofhopewi.org!

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
