My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sid is a four year-old 61 pound adorable black-and-white terrier pit that arrived in the Mesquite Animal shelter on 1/15. He was brought in by one of our officers. Some of us say dogs that wiggle so much are called wiggle butts! He is definitely a happy boy in spite of the fact that based on calluses on his elbows and tail, it looks like he’s spent considerable time outside. With as much love as he’s got to give this time around he deserves to be an inside dog so he can snuggle up on the couch or in his bed at the feet of his new family. He sits for treats and takes them gently. He sometimes jumps on you when he gets really excited and wants attention or a treat. He’s highly motivated by treats so should be easy to train. He will continue to sit licking his lips in anticipation of another treat. He’s spunky, very friendly, affectionate and super sweet. He walks very well on a leash. He did his business as soon as he got out into the yard, and it looked like he had saved it. He wagged his tail meeting other dogs. He’s the whole package!
