This delightfully charming youngster is Desi, picked up by one of our officers on 1/18 as a stray. Desi weighs 42 pounds and is approximately one year old. He has the most fun-loving, spunky, sparkly personality! There are two toy boxes in the room in which I did his eval. He would get into the toy boxes and pick out one toy or ball after another and play with them. He is a friendly youngster and is happy to be petted and loved on. He does know the sit command. He wasn’t especially interested in treats. Desi was curious, looking out the windows of the room and when we went into the yard he climbed up on the play equipment, looking in the parking lot and enjoyed scouting out the yard. This is one highly adoptable fellow. He would make some person or family a devoted and loving companion. Desi also walks nicely on a leash. He has been well cared for and it is a mystery to me why his people have not come looking for him. Do you have a place in your heart and home for this sweet boy? It goes without saying that Desi wants to be an inside dog, interacting, cuddling and playing with his people.
