I love to flop over and have you rub my belly! I also enjoy sleeping in funny positions—some might even call me a contortionist!

This 1.5-year-old, 75-pound bundle of energy is here to fill your life with fun and adventure. Eric is everything you’d expect from a classic Husky: playful, excitable, and always ready to run like the wind. His favorite activities include jumping, running, and reminding you how much better life is with a dog by your side.

Eric is dog-friendly and crate-trained, making him a great companion for the right home. While he loves people, his boundless energy makes him a better fit for homes without small children. He’s working on his leash manners (he just gets so excited he can’t help himself!) and may sometimes pretend not to hear you calling—classic cheeky Husky behavior!

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
