This is our big boy Casper! He wears his heart on his sleeve by always expressing just how excited he is to explore! He loves attention, a good toy and a dog willing to wrestle it out in the yard. Casper may be a big boy but don't fret, he is extremely smart so anything you want to teach him could be easily achieved. With his big smile I'm sure he will catch everyone's eyes. For a future home, he would do great with people that have an active lifestyle who love a good play session or an outside adventure. He loves meeting new people so he can go out for a night on the town with his future family as well!

Lake Norman Humane utilizes a conversational approach to the adoption process to help find the best match for your household. Please stop in to speak with an adoption counselor Tuesday-Friday between 12:00PM-6:00PM and on Saturday between 12:00PM-4:00PM.

We welcome visitors during our business hours:

Tuesday–Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Please note that the last tours are taken back 30 minutes before closing.

No appointment is needed to stop by during these hours! Upon arrival, you’ll complete a short adopter profile, and our team will pair you with an adoption counselor to help find your perfect match.

We offer same-day adoptions, but if you have a dog at home, we require a meet-and-greet to ensure compatibility.
