Looking for love—or maybe a little help with your love life? In some parts of the world, black cats are thought to bring good luck in love, and Venus is ready to charm her way into your heart!
Venus is a stunning, fluffy, and soft house panther with a sweet and calm personality. At 6 years old, she’s the perfect mix of affectionate and laid-back. She adores attention, pets, and a good scritch behind the ears or along her back—it’s the quickest way to her heart!
As the queen she is, Venus thrives as the only cat in the household. She’s seeking a peaceful, pet-free home where she can truly relax and let her affectionate personality shine. She was previously returned due to stress in a multi-pet environment, but in the right home, she’ll be a loving and loyal companion. She thrives in a calm household where she can soak up plenty of attention and love.
If you’re ready to add a little love and luck to your life, Venus is waiting to meet you. Bring this gorgeous house panther home, and she’ll fill your days with purrs and affection!
Venus is currently at our PetSmart location on Woodward. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
