Meet Jingle!
Jingle arrived at SafeHaven with his siblings, where they have had very little interaction with people at only 4 months old. Currently, some of the puppies are in foster care building confidence, learning to love people & learning basic manners. Jingle, also known as Bow to his foster parents, has been doing great and making amazing progress! He currently lives with two large dogs & two cats. Although Bow is very curious about the cats and trying his best to befriend them, the cats ignore him and do their own independent activities. It also took a little bit of time for Bow to warm up to larger dogs. Now just after a few days in the home, Bow has been feeling more and more comfortable around people. He greets his foster parent with a waging tail, kisses and rolls on his back eagerly waiting for belly rubs. With progress, Bow has been doing well on leash walking & potty training. He is still getting to know loud sounds such as cars, sirens and busy road sounds.
If you have patience and time, Bow can be the perfect pup for you!

If you are interested in meeting Jingle/Bow, please reach out to our Foster Care department at fostercare@safehavenhumane.com or call 541-928-2789 EXT 106.

More about this shelter

For over 40 years, SafeHaven Humane Society has worked to help our communities’ residents be the best humane beings they can be by providing compassionate temporary shelter care; healthy adoptable animals; information, understanding and education; and population control through spay and neuter programs, instead of euthanasia.

Mission
Finding Homes…Opening Hearts….Educating Minds to strengthen and improve the lives of animals and people.

Vision
We envision a community where every adoptable, treatable companion animal has a loving home and where every loving home has the opportunity to care for a companion animal.

Values
We are guided by the belief that no adoptable or treatable companion animal should be unnecessarily euthanized due to space, time, appearance or treatable conditions.

We are committed to:
* Giving a new chance to companion animals who would otherwise be discarded.
* Strengthening the humane animal bond through education.
* Helping people and their companion animals stay together through the support of programs and services.
* Leading responsibly with compassion.
