My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These adorable boys were found in a cardboard box on the side of the road. They are listed as Lab mixes, but we really have no idea. They are tiny only around 7-10 pounds at 9 weeks old. They are neutered and up to date on shots. They will be in Maine on 1/25 and looking for their new families. Bagel will be fostered in Gardiner.

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
