My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rebel isn’t a rebel at all! This sweet girl is still learning the cat ropes and is keen to climb up the cat tree, play with feather wands, and of course, take a nap (who doesn’t like a nice, cozy nap?). She loves following around the resident cat, trying to learn how to become an adult. This girl is eager to learn and eager to light up your life in her forever home.

Rebel loves other cats and will need to be adopted into a home with another young cat, or along with her sister Vixen. She is still a bit fearful of loud noises and sudden movements, and would not do well in a home with young children or dogs. She will, however, request of you some play time, and would very much enjoy chasing the laser pointer or climbing up into her cat tree to peek quietly out at the world.

Rebel is a sweetheart learning more and more every day what humans are and that they can be comfy nap pillows. She is looking for a home that will give her the space to grow, and the time to let her true self shine bright. She is available for adoption today.

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
