My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Bubba, the Perfect Companion

Bubba is the perfect blend of size and demeanor, a loyal and trusting soul from the moment we met. From the second he leaped into my car, his trust was evident, and it wasn't long before he was happily licking my cheek from the back seat. As we journeyed from the shelter to his new temporary home, Bubba found comfort next to me, curling into a peaceful sleep in the passenger seat.

That first night in a new place was an adventure for Bubba, as he explored every inch of the backyard with curiosity. Adjusting to his new surroundings, he spent the first night separated from my other dogs, crying softly and struggling to sleep. But by the second and third nights, Bubba had settled in, feeling secure and at home.

Each morning, he greeted me with joyful affection, rubbing up against me in pure delight. Bubba’s sweetness is boundless. He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war whenever he gets the chance, bringing endless joy to every day. He enjoys basking in the warm sun, taking naps, and occasionally growling at deer that cross the hillside.

Bubba is not just a good boy; he's a stable, secure, and friendly dog. With the right training, he could be an excellent indoor pet, but his heart thrives in a large backyard where he can run and play freely. Bubba is a special companion who deserves a forever home filled with love and plenty of space to explore.

Bubba is around 1 years old and currently just shy of 50 pounds. He’s neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. If you’re interested in Bubba you can find an app on our website site at http://lsar.rescuegroups.org

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Life Savers Animal Rescue has no physical shelter. Animals are housed in foster homes, so in order to meet a dog, an online application must first be completed and processed and approved. Then a meet and greet will be arranged. This process may be delayed should there be many applicants for one dog, so your patience is appreciated.
