My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Where's all our rescue folks at?

Like, our OG, I accidentally have three dogs, three fosters, and seven baby gates 'rescue' people at??
So, remember when you had one of those moments when you said to yourself or your partner (if you have another human as doggo bonkers as you), OUR NEXT DOG IS GOING TO BE PERFECT AND EASY!!!
Whelp, presto, MEET FLOKI!!!!
HE is THAT dog.

Floki is all the things we love about boxers.
He's goofy, derpy, and fun!
Even though he's not quite young, he does not let that stop him from play, play, playing with all of the doggos that he meets!

Floki was in super ruff shape when he was saved: someone dumped him on the streets with open sores and lesions, left to fend for himself or die trying.

He deserved to be saved; a very good boi does not deserve to suffer, and when no one else would step up to save his life, a Bulldog rescue ( of all places) stepped in to make him an honorary squashed face dog.

Foster mama is pretty sure that he is the very bestest boi; he LOVES having doggy friends to romp with, he is totally potty trained, so gentle on lead, and LOVES the kiddos that he's met so far.
HE will happily accept ALL of the smooches, and he is so, so responsive to learning new things (which is lucky because he seems to be deaf or hard of hearing, so he is working on learning hand signals).

And he is now officially ready and deserving of his happy ending.

Additional adoption info

Austin Bulldog Rescue is 100% foster-based, and does not have a shelter or facility where applicants can come meet dogs before applying. Meet and greets with a potential match will happen after an adoption application is approved. ABR is a matching rescue -- while our teams take dog preference into account, we ultimately match families to the dog best suited for their home and lifestyle. The more thoroughly you answer the interview questions, the better the matching experience on all sides!
