My name is Mopsey Lonestar!

Hi there! I’m Mopsey, but you can call me Lulu! I’m a sweet, gentle 5-year-old, 10 lb little lady, and I’m finally living the good life after being freed from my old life as a breeding dog. It’s been a big change, but I’m loving it! I’m learning all about the joys of being part of a family, and let me tell you, there’s a lot to love! Cozy beds, playtime, lounging and gazing out of windows (one of my favorite things), and most of all, being with my humans. I’m still figuring it all out, but I’m a quick learner, and I’d do great in a home where someone’s around most of the time.  I'm good with kids, other dogs, and cats.

I’m looking for a family that will shower me with love and patience — because I’m a total cuddle bug who just wants to be by your side! I’d also really love having another doggy friend to help me feel comfortable in my new home. I’m pretty good on a leash, although I am a social butterfly who loves to say hi to every person, child, and dog I see! I’m friendly with everyone I meet and can’t help but draw a crowd with my cuteness and sweet demeanor. Oh, and I LOVE car rides! I’m so relaxed in the car that I’ll happily nap in your lap while you run errands, go to restaurants, or even head to the movies like my foster mom does with me. My favorite time of day, though, is bedtime. I love knowing I get you all to myself, and I’ll snuggle up close so we can drift off to sleep together. I’ve even learned how to play with toys and I really love it when you play with me. I’m a gentle soul, and grooming is a breeze because I trust you completely. All I really want is your company and to be loved — is that too much to ask?

I’m spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines, and I’m just waiting to meet the family who will cherish me as much as I’ll cherish them!
