My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Halo - Mama to six sweet babies! I'm not exactly sure what you'd call me other than a Houston special! I'm a low rider with short, legs, a long body, and a boxy face! Unfortunately, my babies are my second litter in two years from my previous owner's male dog. My owner was being evicted so I was about to be dumped on the street with my four-day-old pups until a really kind neighbor stepped in and drove me through rush-hour traffic all the way up to the Woodlands to be with my new foster.
As you can imagine, I was pretty scared and confused when I got there. It took me some time to trust, but now I am really sweet with my foster mom, my six-year-old foster sister, and the three other adult male and female dogs. I am still barky at other people and dogs on my leash, but we are working through that. When I am at home, I pretty much just chill all day long, chewing on a bully stick. I am a low energy girl who enjoys chillin out 99% of the time!

Please come meet me! I can't wait to have a forever home.
