Age: 9 months old

Energy Level: Medium to high

Dog Friendly: Yes, Jude needs a dog sibling in his forever home. He enjoys having a playmate and the added companionship of a dog sibling.

Cat Friendly: Unknown

Kid Friendly: Jude would do best in a home with kids teen aged or older. 

Likes: Playing with toys, chewing on bones, playing with other dogs, eating, going outside, walks and taking naps after play time.

Dislikes: Jude is not the biggest fan of his crate, but will tolerate it. He also prefers being close to his humans.  

Ideal home: Jude’s ideal home would have a fenced yard, as he does like to chase squirrels. He would do best having another dog to play with.

Potty trained: Yes, Jude is trained to use a bell. 

Crate: Yes, but he is not excited to go into the crate. On occasion he will bark when he knows it is bedtime. His foster has left him uncrated for a couple hours while running errands and he's done well with it and hasn’t been destructive.

Jude will require a little bit of time to settle into a new environment and earn your trust. There are a few activities that Jude hasn’t particularly enjoyed, but has made great improvements with some encouragement, establishing trust and positive reinforcement. These activities include getting his harness on, going into the crate and being picked up. Besides the crate still being hard for Jude sometimes, he trusts his foster with the other activities. Jude will need an adopter who is willing to give him some patience and understanding. 

What makes him special: Jude is adorable and sweet. He's a happy boy and so much fun! He wants to be part of the action and loves attention. He really loves his people and having a playmate. 

Adoption fee is $400. Jude's neuter and microchip are included in this fee. As well as vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm preventatives up to date.
