COLE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Cole Best Guess for Breed: Lab/basset hound mix
Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of Jan 2025 SEX: male
Approximate Weight: 33 lbs
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen Cole with cats or kids, but he can be tested.
Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter. Cole needs a foster or forever home to make his way up to the DC area!
Special Adoption Considerations: When Cole arrived in the shelter, hewas very scared and shut down. However, he has been making great strides. We think Cole would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to continue to build confidence.
Cole is Looking For: This sweet little guy is looking for his forever home. He promises he won't take up too much space! Through no fault of his own, Cole arrived at the shelter in South Carolina with his friends Pee Wee and Socks. Now he's looking for a fresh start in the DC area. Cole is out of his youngest puppy days but still has lots of zest for life. He's looking forward to lots of walks, runs, or hikes, as well as plenty of trips to the dog park so he can build up his confidence when making new friends. Cole also can't wait to give obedience school a try so he can learn some tricks and good manners. Most of all, Cole just wants a safe home where he knows he will be loved and cared for all of his days.
