My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! "Mike is all puppy and he got my attention when I went to meet another dog. Mike wasn't listed but his little whines for attention and happy tail prompted me to take him out. Its clear he is a very sweet and friendly boy. He loves pets, greeted the other dogs in the kennels with a waggy tail and excitement. He even saw a cat outside! He didn't make any effort to go for it, growl or bark at it. He is only 9 months old and still trusting, loving and sweet even though he is in a bad situation. Its clear he was at least somewhat socialized and probably once owned. He accepted treats gently. He walked well on the leash and has nothing but tail wags and kisses to give."

More about this rescue

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
