Hello! I'm Brulee, but my foster family calls me Bynx! I'm a quiet, playful, affectionate little lady, and I'm so excited to tell you more about myself!!
So, I have to start by telling you that I do have a sister, Creme, who I would love to be adopted with (though it's not required). Creme and I were adopted together as kittens (check out the adorable baby pictures!!). We had a wonderful family that loved us very much, and we loved them as well. The household we grew up in was pretty darn busy (multiple kids, dogs, cats, regular visitors...) and it ultimately just became a little too much for us over the years. As much as we didn't want to leave our family, we all thought Creme and I would be happier in a calmer environment.
Since moving into my foster home, I am so much more relaxed! I do enjoy my play time, and I like to climb as well. The cat tree is one of my favorite things, because I can tucker myself out (just a little 15-20 minute zoomie session here and there), and then curl right up for a nap. If the cat tree is in a sunny window, even better! Laser pointers are my kryptonite. I can't resist them. Foster Mom thinks I might chase that red dot straight up the wall if that's where it went! But I do enjoy my cat naps, and I sneak plenty of those in as well!!
Now, I know I mentioned that our first house was a lot and that a calmer home would be a better fit. In our first home, I loved all of the humans- especially the kids. There are older kids in my foster home- and I think they're delightful! I did fine with the more mellow animals in our first home as well (dogs and cats), but animals that are more active can make me a bit nervous. I enjoy spending time with my humans (and my sister), and I am really looking forward to finding my new family! If you think maybe that could be you, go ahead and fill out an application so we can chat! I would LOVE to hear more about you!!
Brulee is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
