A Little Bit About Me

Meet King, a charming adult dog with a heart as big as his name suggests. King's personality is a sweet blend of friendly and cuddly, with a dash of shyness. He may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he'll shower you with unconditional love and loyalty. King also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a great addition to a home with other canine companions. His gentle and friendly nature makes him a great friend and a loving companion. King is patiently waiting for a family that will give him the time he needs to show his true, loving colors. He's ready to give all his love to a family who will cherish him. If you're looking for a faithful friend who will always be by your side, King is the one for you. Adopt King and let his love reign in your home.

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
