Meet Blackberry (A212925)! Blackberry is approximately four years young and looking for a loving home at the shelter!

Blackberry is a super sweet kitty, she's just had her world turned upside down. She lived with her mom who lived alone. Her mom had been sick for quite some time and started losing the ability to care for her. When she passed away, Blackberry came into our care. Despite all the trauma, she was purring when the officer picked her up - she knew she was being rescued. Although Blackberry is overwhelmed in the shelter environment, a gentle loving touch and kind words reassure her that she is okay. Before you know it, she melts and enjoys every bit of love that you give her.

Blackberry is looking for a quieter home without young children or dogs with a loving, patient adopter who will nurture her and allow her to blossom into that super sweet kitty. Blackberry has lived around other cats at one time, but was bullied by them. She is a gentle, sensitive soul and needs a home without pushy kitties who could take advantage of that.

All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
