James is a sweet old man who is looking for a home. James is in Louisiana now but he's hoping to come to NJ when we find a foster or adopter. We do offer a foster to adopt trial to approved applicants.

James' owner passed away and left 8 dogs homeless. The owner's daughter is trying to find a place for the remaining dogs before they are kicked out of the home February 26th. James has always lived with his brother Bones so we are hoping to find them a home together but we will consider any home considering the urgency of the situation. James is dog friendly but not good with cats or livestock. He and Bones have a history of digging out of the fenced yard so they can't be left alone in the yard for long periods of time. They are sweet boys who are housebroken and crate trained.

James is fixed, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee will be $300.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
