Ashley arrived at EHS along with her sister Mary Kate after being surrendered by their person who, unfortunately, was no longer able to care for them. These adorable young females have certainly stolen the hearts of everyone they’ve met.
ABOUT ASHLEY: -In foster -Young, domestic shorthair, female -Ashley is an affectionate cat who is happy to have humans around. -She is friendly and enjoys pets and being picked up, but can be shy around strangers and usually hides at first when visitors come by. She will state her boundaries with a gentle hiss until she feels comfortable. -Ashley has the occasional bout of youngster zoomies, but overall, she prefers to lounge around. -She can be differentiated from her sister because she has tabby stripes, while Mary Kate is pure gray. -Ashley is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
ASHLEY’S IDEAL HOME: -Ashley gets along well with other cats. -While not considered bonded to her sister Mary Kate, the girls get along well and could be adopted together if you’re looking for a “Full House!” -We are unsure of Ashley’s history with dogs or children, but given her affectionate nature, a family home would likely suit her well. Stay tuned: a visit with children at her foster home is scheduled.
As the theme song goes, will you be the one to give Ashley a hand and heart to hold onto? Schedule a meet and greet with this young sweetheart today!
