Hi, my name is Monty. I am a very shy guy who will need some time to warm up to you. Here is my story: I was found abandoned in Texas on a very dark and cold night with my brother and sister. Then, a very nice foster person in Texas took us in. She fed us and took care of us.
We were then chosen to come to Buffalo to find our forever homes.
Once I realize I can trust you, I will come out of my shell and be a very happy and a loving addition to your family. I love to play with other dogs. I also love to play with toys and chew on chew bones.
I am doing super with my potty training on a schedule but also will use potty pads.
It took a couple of days to get used to that cold white stuff, but now it's fun to romp around in it with my long legs. I sleep in my crate at night next to my foster moms bed, where I feel safe and warm. I sleep thru the night and keep my crate nice and clean. I also stay in my crate when my foster Mom has to go out without me. I sometimes wine a little, but then I settle and fall asleep.
I would probably fit best in a family with older children because little children will scare me due to their rambunctious play.
My foster Mom loves my beautiful coat and my big ears. She also loves the way we snuggle at night when we watch TV.
If you would like to meet me, please click the link in the comments and apply. If you're already pre-approved, please message the rescue.
