Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $275, plus taxes
Location: CSHS Adoption Center
Meet Guppy, a sweet and playful black kitten with a heart as big as her curiosity! At just a few months old, Guppy is already proving to be a social butterfly, making friends with everyone she meets—both furry and human alike. She’s got a gentle nature, and her playful antics are sure to bring a smile to your face. Luna loves to chase after toys, climb into cozy spots, and snuggle up for a good nap once she's worn herself out. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or entertaining guests, she's always ready to jump in and join the fun. Guppy does wonderfully with other cats, making her the perfect companion for a multi-pet household. With her friendly disposition and beautiful shiny black coat, Guppy is ready to bring joy and laughter to her forever home.
This kitten is spayed and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed and microchipped.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
