Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $275 + taxes
Location: Foster Home
Tally is a sweet and incredibly fluffy girl with the softest fur and the biggest heart. She’s full of playful energy, loves exploring every corner of her surroundings, and can’t resist a good toy!
This young lady has already mastered some important skills—she had the litter box down perfectly from day one in her foster home, uses scratching posts like a pro, and is always gentle with her paws when interacting with people. Tally is still learning to trust that food will always be there, so she may sneak a nibble before her bowl even touches the floor!
She’s also working on getting comfortable being held or staying in a lap for long stretches. While she may not stay for a cuddle just yet, she’ll return often for some pets, head butts, and a little love before resuming her explorations—or checking the food bowl one more time. Over the past few days, Tally has started to relax and will happily settle at her foster’s feet or on a nearby cat tree.
Tally has also shown great social skills with the resident cats. She’s eager to make friends but respects their space if they’re not ready to play.
This young lady is all dressed up in her best tuxedo but still waiting for someone to ask her to prom – will you be the one?

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
