Meet Sweetie!

Sweetie is a 4 year old Cocker Spaniel mix who was saved from a commercial breeding facility in Lancaster County. She was given up because she was no longer profitable as a breeder mama.

The puppy mill used and abused Sweetie until they couldn’t anymore and then reached out to us to take her off their hands. It’s a story as old as time when it comes to puppy mills, but we will always be there to help our beloved mill mamas.

She has started to giving us her trust as well as all her love and gentleness. We are confident she will make a wonderful family member for a very lucky family, who understands her past and gives her the time she needs to trust them. Our mill mamas are always extremely special, and we promise you there is no love out there that compares to theirs!

She will require a family who understands her past, and is patient with her as she transition to living life in a home and around kind people. This should go without saying, but we require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY.
