My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Todd is a large, lovable boy who is always happy to have visitors. He’s a true social butterfly, ready to greet you with a purr and a friendly headbutt. Whether it’s watching you do chores, greeting you at the door, or simply sharing your company, he’s an ideal companion.

Todd has Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), which is a lifelong disease that can cause anemia, certain cancers, and a weakened immune system. Cats with FeLV generally have shorter lifespans, but those lives can be just as happy and peaceful as those who are negative. Unfortunately, because of his condition, Todd should either live alone or with other FeLV+ cats.

Despite his diagnosis, Todd doesn’t let anything keep him from enjoying life. He would be a wonderful choice for someone looking to only have one cat, or someone who is educated on FeLV and understands the precautions needed to keep him and others healthy. If you’re looking for a big boy with an even bigger heart, Todd may be the one for you!

More about this shelter

Here Today Adopted Tomorrow is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, volunteer driven group focused on reducing the number of homeless animals in our community through prevention and adoption services. In December of 2012, Here Today opened a cageless adoption center for adult cats and kittens. It is deeply important to us that every resident's stay at Here Today is comfortable and healthy, making for well-adjusted, happy animals.
