My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor only*

Elmo is a huge love bug. He spends most of his days cuddling and loves sitting on your lap. He enjoys being held. He doesn’t play too much, seems to be older than one (but we're not positive of his age) and very relaxed. He is fine around children and does not get scared with loud noises. Still using his litter box and eating well. He has seen other cats through opening the door and is curious and not scared of them. Elmo is a sweet, handsome guy who loves affection and a lot of lap snuggles.

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and dis-temper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
