Rose's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Rose's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=008277) to learn even more about Rose!
Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Rose is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses.

Hi! My name is Rose! People say good things come in small packages, and I am a loving tiny feisty package for you. I am a young puppy with a strong personality full of curiosity and cuddles. I always want to be held, but as long as I have my brother Valentine in the playpen with me, I have a buddy to keep me company and play, so I’m very happy most of the time. I’m not shy about using my voice when I’m unhappy, or just trying to communicate in general. I’m working on being comfortable alone, but I haven’t made a ton of progress in that yet. I’m still using pee pads and getting the hang of that. I particularly love tug-of-war, but don’t quite understand when I’m supposed to let go, unlike my brother. If I’m awake, I’m on the hunt for another place to sniff, even if it involves climbing out of wherever I am, so I can go explore. I am teething on everything, like all puppies do. But I especially love to eat my three meals a day, as long as it’s separate from my brother, since he eats twice as fast as me and seems to like my food too.
The loud noises of the MTA don’t bother me at all, and I love riding in the backpack with my brother as we explore the city from up high.
I sleep a lot, and enjoy using my brother as a pillow during my two/three naps and nighttime sleep. I would love to be in a home with other dogs. I haven’t met any cats or kids yet, but the adults I interact with tell me that I like to play a little rough, since I am small and learning my manners.
I will always want to be by your side, in your lap, in a carrier on your back, or literally galloping behind you to catch up and cheering you as you live life each day! I can't wait to find my furever home and hope it's with you! **puppy licks**
