Beatle Bailey is an incredibly handsome cat and a very sweet boy. Tiny, soft, and full of curiosity. Beatle loves to be near people, and will follow his owners from room to room. He will also come when he is called! While he may not be comfortable with a cuddle (yet), he will often lick you to show his affection. He knows his boundaries and will assert them gently (by ducking out of reach). But Beatle loves to be a part of the group, and is grateful for playtime and food of all kinds.

Another cute quirk of Beatle is that he is a hilariously vocal cat. Several times a day he will meow to display his pleasure, or his hunger, or his deep thoughts. He’s a cat that’s very easy to love, and when you earn his affection and trust, he’s an incredibly rewarding companion.

This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.

By appointment only. We offer to drive prospective adoptive prospects to the foster home. We also deliver pets to their new homes.

More about this rescue

Our rescue group was formed in December 2007, but all our Board Members have had extensive experience rescuing and working with abandoned animals. We often work with other rescue organizations to find appropriate and safe foster and adoptive homes for our pet clients. We regularly go to areas with abandoned animals and collect them. The animals are taken to a licensed veterinarian examined, treated and spayed or neutered. Every effort is made to work with the animal and our foster and adoptive families to find a suitable forever home.

For those animals who are truly wild and feral, we release the animal in a safe and secure location after it has recovered from its medical treatment. We also work with certified wildlife rehabilitators to rescue injured and orphaned wildlife. Our organization is focused on improving the welfare of the abandoned animals in need of help in Brooklyn. In furthering that goal, our resources are focused on the animals.

Aside from a few minimal overhead costs such as our website and phone services, our entire budget is spent on animal care such as medical and food costs.
