My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

Meowington interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience, demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.

A volunteer writes: Found sitting outside a McDonald's, Meowington hoped someone would notice her. She's friendly and chatty, so someone did and now she's settling into Care Center life like it was made for her. In true cat fashion, Meowington was sleeping next to her bed when I last visited. With perfect and well practiced manners, she sat up to greet me and wait for pets. Sitting proudly right at the front, Meowington nuzzled with notable enthusiasm, softly purring to express her joy. She doesn't want to be forgotten again and is really hoping for the chance to show everyone how great she can be. A microchip scan revealed Meowington's age as a vivacious 15 and she's been remarkably good natured and happy about what she sees as her recent turn of luck, but I explained that her luck is going to get even better when her forever family walks in.
