My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chocolate Frosted! The sweetest and most gentle 2-year-old, 40lb pup! He loves to snuggle into you and greet everyone while on an adventerous walk! He has his routine down to a science, he is potty trained and has been sleeping in his crate at night! Chocolate frosted has grown in confidence with his foster family! He loves to sleep and lounge on the couch. He is crate trained but does amazing when left out as well! He would do best in a home who can continue helping him with his puppy-like manners while enjoying his playful and snuggly personality.

Personality & Characteristics: He has the most beautiful icey-blue eyes! His personality is sweet and gentle. My foster dog is good with dogs. Kids and cats are unknown at this time.
My foster dog is: crate trained, house trained, and low shedding.
He is gentle, calm, and easy-going.

Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 4, super calm and chill at home. But would be energetic and fun at the park!

Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Quiet pup for sure!
Walking Manners: Walks great on his martingale collar and leash! No pulling.
Appetite: No issues - loves kibble and pumkin, and of course all the treats!
Does the following: Not nervouse outside. He can be taught to be alone, we have been leaving him a couple hours for prep!

Favorite Things: Snuggling into the couch with his humans! Adventerous walks and sniffing around
Commands/Tricks: We are working on sit and stay! He has mastered going into his crate at night! We are working on calling it "place" for him to learn.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea.
