HOLD THE PHONE!

I am available—look no further! I am Khan. I am about 2-3 years old, and I am a Belgian Malinois and a fine specimen of the breed, if I say so myself. I am confident you will love me! I was dumped in a high-kill shelter in Southern California, but I have my bags packed, and I can travel to Illinois for the right people!

Let me tell you what I am looking for in a family!

My ideal family will have kids. As you can see, I love kids! I take my job watching over them very seriously—they will be my life! I love my walkies, and I am great on a leash!

If you have cats, they don’t really bother me because I am way too busy protecting my family from the UPS guy! I love, love, love affection and praise when I do a good job!

I don’t mind living with other dogs; however, I do prefer female dogs because, well, hubba hubba—look at all this dog, especially my eyes!

Do you like to goof around? I have a great sense of humor, too!

I am up to date on all my vaccines.

I will be neutered before adoption!

So, if you like to hike, throw a ball, or jog, I am your huckleberry!

Khan is in California, but can be brought to Naperville, IL to pick up for the right adopter.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
