Does the winter blues have you down. My name is Blu and I can help with that. I’m an 18 month old, mixed breed, weighing 45-50 lbs. I was recently surrendered by my family due to no fault of my own. I found a great foster family and they make sure I eat good food, get plenty of exercise, and lots of love. I’m full of energy and always ready to play. I love to go running, cuddling, giving hugs, playing catch, and rough housing with my foster siblings (similar in size). When I’m not busy napping, or playing with my foster siblings, I like to chew on a Benebone or deer antler while I’m cuddled up on the couch. I’m a good girl and learning new things everyday. If you’re ready for a fun loving girl who’s always up for an adventure, I’m your girl. I’m fully potty trained, re-call when I’m told to come in the house, I know how to sit, shake, and I’m working on learning to lay down. I would do best in a mature home with 2-3 people. I’m looking for a person who can help me become more confident because I spent my first important months in a shelter, where I missed out normal puppy socialization. I’m shy at first but once I trust you we can be best friends. I can’t wait to get my second chance at having a forever home. “Life is ruff, but I’m pawsome.” An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

Additional adoption info
See our adoption process at www.sandipaws.org/adoption
A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
