Milk Chocolate is a confident, curious chihuahua mix puppy looking for an adopter ready to show her the ropes. She’s a cuddly little girl who loves to be held, play hard, then sleep hard. Milk Chocolate is also incredibly smart—she learned "sit" after just half an hour of training! She loves to fall asleep in your arms and, when awake, prefers to be carried around to take in all the sights and sounds. Her food motivation makes her eager to learn more, and she’s always ready for a new adventure. With her silky, shiny coat and stunning looks, Milk Chocolate is as gorgeous as she is sweet—pictures don’t do her justice! If you’re looking for a fun, curious, and smart companion, she’s the one for you.

Fill out our adoption application at heartsandbonesrescue.org and our adoption team will be in touch about next steps within a few days.

Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Sign Adoption Contract

Pay Fee

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building.
