Hello there. My name is Pretty Girl and I AM, with my stunning green eyes and soft fur coat. My foster mom calls me Etta (as in Etta James) because I love to talk to you and have so much to say. She says I am “belting out the songs” when I talk to her.
I was adopted from Humane Tomorrow as a kitten and have recently been returned. My mom has had some difficulties in her life and could no longer care for me. I was sad but am now in a good place and can show what an affectionate and fun cat I can be.
I think I would be fine with other animals once we get to know each other. I pretty much ignore the resident cats in my foster home-they are old men who sleep most of the day. Of course I would LOVE to be an only pet so I would have all the attention showered on me – that’s what “pretty girls” like, right? Do you have room in your home and heart for me? I will have you “etta” out of my paw in no time!

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
