Meet Dixie the lab! Dixie is just shy of 1 year old, 54 lbs currently, and she likely has some black lab in her mix! In her foster home, she is working hard on her house-training, is crate trained and walks pretty well on leash. She could go to a home with kids 10+, cats, and other dogs.
Her foster says, `Dixie is ready to pull up her southern roots and plant them with you! This girl is the perfect dog for an active young couple or single person or even a family with older kids. She is the happiest go lucky girl that has a smile on her face 24/7. She is great with other fur pals. The more the merrier for her! She loves her toys and plays HARD. She is such a sweet intelligent girl and so so cuddly. She may be a little much for young children but could easily be trained. She likes for her voice to be heard so no apartments for this girl. Dixie is very loving and has such a zest for life ( and play). She can be a bit crazy but aren’t most pups her age? She’s a very loyal girl. She absolutely loves her people!! She is so excited to find and new family to call her.`
She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on February 14th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
