My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mingo is a playful and affectionate 4-year-old pup who is seeking a new forever home as her parents are relocating overseas this spring. She is crate trained, potty trained, and walks like a pro on a leash. She enjoys hiking and will appreciate having a fenced backyard to romp around in.

Mingo is affectionate, good with kids and other dogs, and would make an ideal family pet. She is up to date on all vaccines and receives monthly heartworm prevention.

If you have space in your heart and home for Mingo, please consider welcoming her into your life. For more information or to inquire about adoption, please reach out directly to Ashlan at ashlan.r.burns@gmail.com.

More about this shelter

CCA was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals dedicated to helping animals. Since then, our group has grown to include a small shelter. Our group's mission is varied: to maintain a shelter for abandoned, sick or injured animals; to adopt out dogs and cats to loving permanent homes; to provide for their animals low-cost spay/neuter assistance to families who lack the means to pay; and to strive to prevent and to stop abuse and/or neglect of an animal.

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in becoming a part of our group, please let us know by calling 864.243.4222. We'd be glad to have you on board!
