Meet Deuce – Your Playful, Cuddly Best Friend

Looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion? Deuce is the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly sweetness.

Deuce is active and playful, always ready for playtime with his favorite toys. He is also incredibly affectionate and cuddly, making him the perfect companion for snuggles. He is both crate trained and house trained, and he knows basic commands, showing how smart and well-behaved he is.

One of Deuce’s special skills is being bell-trained—he rings a bell when he needs to go outside. He is also great with both cats and dogs, making him a wonderful fit for a multi-pet household. He enjoys peaceful car rides and is always happy and ready for fun.

At 2 years and 44 pounds, Deuce is the perfect size for adventure and companionship. He is up to date on vaccinations, housetrained, and loves his toys.

Additional adoption info

An approved application, vet reference, personal reference check and home visit are required to finalize an adoption. We suggest a $200 donation that helps offset some of our expenses such as feeding, boarding, training, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and miscellaneous veterinary costs.
Adoption fees are used to continue to help homeless animals in need!

We are a rescue that is dependent on volunteers as we do not have a physical building. We rent space at a kennel in Upperco, Md. If you would like to meet one of our dogs please contact us to make arrangements. Thanks!

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
