Introducing Loveable Yolanda. A 2 year old, female,12 pound, Yorkie mix. She was pulled from a high-capacity shelter in LA county. It was a stressful environment and it took Yolanda a full 3 days to decompress. After that her absolutely adorable personality came through. She is very friendly with our dogs and all humans. She loves to walk and sniff, and she is not reactive on leash to kids, men, or dogs. Yolanda has been learning "Place" because she likes to dance around the kitchen and jump on the couch. She has exceptional taste buds. She only likes high quality treats and food. Someone must have spoiled her at some point. Yolanda wants to be by a humans side 24/7 but she needs to be given structure as to not develop isolation anxiety. She would benefit from an owner that will keep teaching her place and will continue to crate train her until she has the confidence to have alone time. Yolanda gets SUPER excited to see a human that she sometimes tinkles herself just a little bit. We go very slow when approaching her to reduce her excitement. She is potty trained (potty pads too), and crate trained. She will bark for 10-15 minutes IF she is crated without being exercised first. Walkies reduce her excited personality. So walks before leaving Yolanda alone will help calm this young pup. If you can provide Yolanda with a solid routine and much love would you consider making her part of your family? She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
