Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there! My name is Harper, and I’m a 5 month old kitten with a soft, gray and white coat and a heart full of love to give. I might be a little shy at first, but if you’re patient with me, I promise I’ll be your most loyal companion.
I absolutely love other cats. Big, small, young, old, you name it! My foster sister, Stuart Little, and I have the best time playing together, and I even wrestle and chase the tails of the grown-up cats in my foster home. I would be happiest in my new home with a cat friend.
When I’m feeling brave, I’ll come over for pets and sometimes collapse right in front of you for tummy rubs. My belly is the softest thing ever!
Playtime is my favorite, and I can’t wait to show you how much fun I am. But here’s the thing, I don’t want to grow up in foster care. I want to grow up with you. Imagine all the memories we could make together.
Will you be my forever family?
Harper is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
