My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Audrey from our Christmas Vacation litter! Shes a petite girl who prefers to be held or curled up on your lap. If youre looking for a cuddly dog on the smaller side, Audrey may be the perfect fit for you. In foster care, shes working on crate training and potty training. Audrey and her brother Russell joined Saved By Fate Dog Rescue about 6 weeks later than the rest of the litter, so they have some catching up to do. Shes fostered with other (big) dogs and isnt intimidated by them at all but seems to enjoy the company of humans more. Audrey also doesnt mind cats. Audrey is one of the smallest puppies from her litter. She weighs only 12 pounds at about 4 months old, so were estimating that shell be between 30-40 lb max full grown. Our Christmas Vacation litter are mixed breed puppies. Audrey will complete her vet care on 1/29. Wed be happy to discuss foster-to-adopt if an applicant is approved before then. Our puppy adoption fee is $300, but we offer a discount for foster-to-adopt. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP! A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Additional adoption info

SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

More about this rescue

Saved by Fate is a dog rescue organization in Central Kentucky that specializes in pulling dogs at high risk of euthanasia from Kentucky shelters. SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area. SBF is an entirely foster and volunteer based organization that does not have a physical location or kennel at this time.
