This is Octavia!

She was born is September so she still has some puppy energy. Her new family will need to continue working with her on her kennel, potty and leash training.

Octavia has been working on her sit and is very motivated to please her person. We think she could make a great hiking partner.

She is current on vaccines, microchipped and spayed. We believe she is a cattle dog mix. She does great with all sized dogs and humans. Though she can be a bit vocal when meeting new people. We are unsure of cats.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
