My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In a lot of ways, Puglsey Addams is the ideal dog. At about 40 pounds, he's not too big and not too small. A distinguished senior gentleman of some 7-8 years, he's chill as can be and an absolute sweetheart. He enjoys a good head pat or chin scratch, but he is by no means needy and is happy to spend all day just chilling on his bed or in his crate. He might be shy at first, but his confidence has grown every day since he left the shelter; with a little time, you'll no doubt end up best buds.

Pugsley is crate trained, house trained and is very responsive to commands. He does well on leash and in the car. Pugsley could fit beautifully in any number of homes, and will no doubt brighten yours -- and who could say no to those big, brown eyes of his?

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers and rescuers combining our skills to help fosters get a dog out of the shelter! The dogs in our program have begun house, crate, and leash training. Our fosters follow a handful of house rules. The transition to a new home is easiest for your dog when these structures are carried over for some time and privileges are gradually introduced. This helps minimize anxiety and behavioral issues.
