Playful, sweet, beautiful IVY is a fluffy, tabico (calico-tabby mix) young adult female kitty. She has an endearing chirpy meow and, once she decides you are safe, she will wind between your legs and follow you around your home. She is eager to make friends with other kitties and will even pounce and play tag with new cat friends. She is less sure about dogs but is learning that they can be okay too. New humans need to prove to her that they can be trusted, but once she does trust you she will snuggle, sleep on your bed and even chase your toes under the covers. Ivy was found living in an orchard in South Eugene. She is sensitive to loud sounds and ducks for cover under furniture, so we suspect she was on her own for a good while. She would do best with a young, active playmate in her new home and she is well on her way to becoming friends with her fellow foster cat Star. With a caring and patient adopter, this gorgeous girl will reward you with love and affection ten times over!
IVY has been spayed, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet IVY in foster care, please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
