My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet ANNIE! She was found as a stray under a bush with a fractured jaw and leg and scars all over her body....bruises across her chest and abdomen...she is healing now from that...inside and out...ANNIE is ready for her forever home. She is a small dog (25 pounds), supremely sweet, loves other dogs (her adoptive home must have one or more as a companion for her) and is friendly to all, but has not been tested with children. Her breed mix is unknown, but resembles a 'pocket pittie' mixed most likely with a small breed dog (she's much smaller than her pictures suggest). While ANNIE is super friendly, she is a little shy...surely a product from her wretched prior experience and injury. So a home that is not too busy with lots of folks moving about is best. She does love to lay in the sun and spend time outdoors so a fenced-in backyard would be a lovely gift to her. She also wants a dog buddy to play with...ANNIE is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
