My name is Detroit (24-209 D)!

Meet Detroit, an adventurous 9-month-old puppy who made his way from Georgia to Michigan in December. Despite his southern roots, Detroit has quickly fallen in love with the snow. He can often be found jumping into snow banks or munching on fresh snowflakes, enjoying the cold weather to the fullest. He’s a playful explorer, loving his trips to the neighborhood parks and running around in the backyard.

Detroit has a soft spot for tennis balls—he’ll happily carry one around or eagerly chase after it for a fun game of fetch. When he's not running around, he enjoys chewing on his toys while relaxing beside you on the couch. He’s great with other dogs and is learning to be respectful of the cats in his home.

Curious and intelligent, Detroit is a quick learner who is already house and crate trained. He’s eager to please, especially when treats are involved! He’s mastered a few commands already, including sit, shake, and sit up, and he’s always excited to learn more. Whether it’s playing outside, cuddling on the couch, or engaging in a training session, Detroit’s sweet and playful personality shines through every moment.
