Mystique is one of 5 Terrier Mix puppies that were surrendered to Hendry County Animal Control. These cuties found their way to ARC and are now searching for their 'furever' homes. Mystique is the tiniest of the group. She is everything you would expect in a puppy. Full of energy and quite amusing to watch. If you are looking for lots of love, look no further.

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
