All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

Crockpot is a 5 year old Basenji x Corgi mix who is cooking up some love for his forever family! Crockpot came from the shelter as part of our “comfort food” collective and he has lived up to that descriptor ever since! Crockpot has that perfect long and low body of a Corgi with the face of a Basenji. He’s the best of both worlds! Crockpot may be a little guy but he is absolutely bursting with personality and charm. He adores his humans and wants to be near them all the time, so he would be an amazing fit for someone who works from home or who can bring a dog to the office. He is super goofy and loves playing hide and go seek or tag. Crockpot is still learning how to “dog” so toys are a bit of a mystery for him, but we have faith he will figure them out eventually. Crockpot is exceptionally cute with floppy ears and a curled tail. He is so loyal and loving and makes an impression on everyone he meets. Crockpot is extremely affectionate and is always ready to shower his people in kisses while he curls up next to you on the couch. He likes to place a gentle paw on you while he snoozes which means you can take a nap as well. It’s the best of both worlds! Crockpot wakes up around 6:30 AM and goes right outside to potty. He comes in for breakfast and then heads out on a walk with his foster sister around the neighborhood. He gets tons of attention on his stroll and then goes into his pen while his humans are at work. He goes out around noon for potty and playtime and then takes a nap until his humans finish their workday. He goes out for another walk in the evening before he gets his dinner. He spends the rest of the evening lounging in the living room and cuddling with his humans until he goes to bed in his crate for the night.
Crockpot lives with a resident Golden Retriever and they get along well. He mostly ignores the resident senior car. He walks well on a leash besides some pulling his foster home has been working on. Crockpot does well when he meets new adults but little hands might be overwhelming for him until he feels comfortable. Come and meet this handsome hunk today!
