DENNISA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Dennisa Best Guess for Breed: Shiba Inu, Shepherd

Best Guess for Age: 10 months as of January 24, 2025 SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 31 lbs as of 1/23/25; she might have a bit more to grow.

Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen Dennisa with cats or kids, but she can be tested!

Currently Living at: Shelter. Needs a DC area foster home to come to the area!

Dennisa is Looking For: Someone to finally welcome her home! Dennisa is so excited to find the family that will choose her and bring her along on all of their adventures. She is always looking to make new four legged friends and would love lots of trips to the dog park to meet her future playmates. She'd also love lots of fun walks, yummy treats, and snuggles on the couch with her new family!

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
