Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is a 2-year-old bundle of energy, she is also cuddling, loving, and your shadow. She requires training as she hasn't yet learned to control her excitement. She exhibits typical playful, high-energy puppy behavior that one would expect with a young dog. If you are looking for a little girl and are willing to enroll her in training classes, please let us know. If you want to liven up your house, Lucy is for you!
Lucy needs to be the only dog in the household. Older dogs may try to assert dominance over her, and she was previously bitten by a larger dog. Interactions with other dogs would depend on each individual's temperament.
She can be with cats that can assertively establish boundaries, but each cat and dog interaction will be unique and require careful assessment.
Minimum requirements:
Live in Minneapolis or close suburbs
Only pet (unless proven else-wise)
Fenced in Yard
Training classes
Puppy proofed home
No Toddlers humans
We know in the right home she can learn, grow, and become a great companion, she just needs to find a forever home that has time, patients, and the right tools to know how to teach her.

Go meet their pets
Before finalizing the forever home, we organize a meet and greet session for the Schnauzer and its potential owners. We want to be assured that the already displaced Miniature Schnauzer gets along with the entire family. We don't have a physical location and all dogs are in private homes of our foster families, there is no way to view or meet them prior to having all the steps of our adoption process is completed.
